Yay! 
L is the awesomest! I really cried when he died, I mean I was literally screaming "FUQ YOU LIGHT, FUQ YOU REM, FUQ YOU MISA AND YOU'RE BIMBOTIC ASS! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS L'S DYING DAMNIT!" and mum wuz like "..." :/
The freaky thing I noticed is, unlike the main characters of most anime, it was impossible for me to get sick of Light, or hate him.
It was pretty cool though, if I'd have to pick a favourite main anime character, it would be Light, but I still hate him for killing L. -.-
